College Football Top 128, Week of Oct. 25

The Top Ten finally had a major shakeup when Ohio State fell to Penn State, 24-21. The Buckeyes could have fallen further in the poll, but they stayed ahead of Western Michigan and Boise State because of their strength of schedule. Meanwhile, Alabama continued to dominate the SEC with a ripping of Texas A&M. It’s simply hard to envision a College Football Playoff without the Crimson Tide involved. As of now, the playoff (as I see it) would have Alabama playing Washington, and Clemson playing Michigan. With the way those teams are competing, that would be a playoff worth watching. Of course, it’s doubtful that lineup will stay intact for another six weeks.
